Hiboy S2 Pro Refurbished Electric Scooter

Original: Obviously I didn't expect anything in pristine condition but reading the other reviews I thought it would be decent or at least exceed my expectations. The exact opposite happened actually. It arrived looking great, just a few minor cosmetic dings but upon first ride it immediately overheated. You can't even turn the lights on on the thing inside, without riding it first, without it overheating. Obvious wiring/battery/both issues that weren't fixed which it states are all covered under the 14 day warranty. 14 day warranty is ticking by and company is closed during business hours. Still no response and I've had the scooter sitting in my living room inoperable for 4 days.

Scooter is now working great!!! I have to say, I was
very disappointed when it arrived not working at all, especially because I got it for a birthday gift. When Hiboy reopened and customer service reached out to me, they tried everything until they got the scooter fixed. They sent me everything I needed, along with instructions, to replace any part that could be causing the overheating. Motor had to be replaced but now, scooter is running just like our other one!
Even though this started out as a disappointing experience, I understand things happen and do have to say Hiboy's customer support and willingness to meet my needs was great! I'll purchase from them again in the future just because of the great customer service. Thank you!

We got this for our son for Christmas and it’s great! We got him the S2 for Christmas last year and he rode it almost daily and it’s still in good shape. He loves the bigger tires on the S2 pro! Great quality!

Bought this as a shuttle that I could carry in the car and run back and forth between properties. It seems perfect for that purpose. Pros are great deal on refurbished scooter that looks and operates like a new one, great features for a low to mid range scooter. Cons are it rids a little rough with the honeycomb solid tires and no front suspension. But all in all it is exactly what I specked out and think I need for this purpose. Grey deal that will be fun for all to play on.

I got my scooter more than 15 days ago and it's working well, just once I turned on and got a sign of "f2" in the screen for a few minutes, later disappeared and worked normally. It's a good machine, the battery works as projected and I have no complaint.

If you are trying to get a scooter on a budget this is a good buy. I've been buying these scooters for a couple of years . I bought my first one during a memorial Day sale two years ago and its still running good. I bought two more for backup . The hiboy s2 pro is my favorite. I am right at 265 lbs 6foot 1 and it still runs good. It does 18mph but slows to 8 to 11mph in slight hills. Probably because of my weight as well. I usually get about 10 to 15 miles out of it. It should vary for lighter riders because I am right at the limit. It's my work commuter and snack getter on the weekends lol. I even take it in the drive thru to get food no problem. I bought the refurbished models and they run like new. Thanks for reading.
