bracket doesn't fit scooter

Lock seems light-weight and I question how robust it will be against someone with a crowbar. The bracket that comes with it does not fit on the stem of the Hiboy scooter I purchased. Seems like that should have been solved before recommending it with the scooter. In hindsight, i wish I would have put my money towards an industrial strength lock.
