Hiboy S2R Plus Electric Scooter
Love this scooter
I bought the S2R+ to commute to work 3 miles away, 6 miles round trip. Started riding it to work and to the grocery store and to my friends and families houses. There was some magic going on because the tank of gas in my truck lasted 2 months after I got this scooter! In 5 months I've just about payed it off in savings! And I love the commute now! You actually see people and can meet people in your neighborhood as you zip around!
The scooter has worked great so far. I just hit 700 miles on it. 1 flat at about 600 on the front tire and changing it scared me from all the vids of other scooters online. It's still more involved then a bike tire but I got it done in an hour first time. Another good feature is the tire is rigid enough that with the flat I was still able to ride home, I just went slow and it used more battery.
I mostly use it for short trips under 6 miles round trip. But I have taken it to my parents a few times and done a 16 mile round trip but I take my charger and charge there.
Range... I weigh 200lbs. My real world range is 16 miles on slow "Eco" mode and 10 miles on the sport setting going as fast as it will go. This is in the city and stopping at lights and all the other acceleration and breaking you do not on a test track.
If you are debating, just buy this one! It works. It hasn't given me any problems. It's fun and you meet new people. For the price you can't get a better scooter. It is light and folds up easy so I can stash it in the break room at work. It's everything I wanted in a little commuter scooter!
