Question: Does this scooter have lights?
Answer: Yes, the NEX5 electric scooter has a bright headlight and a brake light on the rear fender. The brake light will light up when you turn on the light and it will flash when you brake adding safety at night.

Answer: Yes, we will sell the extra battery packs for the Hiboy NEX5 electric scooter soon.

Question: How long does the scooter battery last? Should I charge the scooter every time after I use it?
Answer: The Hiboy NEX5 electric scooter can reach 34 miles on a single charge and it can run up to 40 miles depends on riding style and terrain. We suggest that you charge the scooter when there is 2 bars left on the battery gauge.

Question: Why is the display screen black?
Cause: the product is subject to long-time exposure to sunlight.
Solution: keep the product in shade for some time to recover.

Question: Why is that the parameters don't show correctly?
Cause: Parameters are set improperly or lost.
Solution: Press and hold the power button to turn off and then press it again to restart the scoote

Question: Why is the display screen dim?
Cause: The battery is in poor contact or empty.
Solution: Turn off the power supply and then turn it on again. If this problem still occurs, contact the manufacturer or dealer.

Question:  lf the product does not work properly, please try to follow this check list:
a. Check power supply is turned on.
b. Check the battery power level on the display.
c. Check the left brake lever and rear brakes are in their original positions.
d. Check that all jacks and cables are connected correctly. If all the steps are completed but the product is still not working properly, contact the manufacturer or reseller.

Question: How many years does battery last long before replacing the new one?
Answer: It depends. Normally it would be approx. 2 years.

Question: Can I use it on a raining day?
Answer: We don't recommend to use in raining days.

Question: How do I pair the Bluetooth? No instructions came on the package.
Answer: Please download Hiboy APP in Apple Store or Google Play, and then open the Bluetooth function of the phone, open Hiboy APP, the application will automatically scan Hiboy Scooter nearby. Simply click to pair.

Question: Is there a software update/hack that is known to increase speed? With a 350W motor it should be able to hit 35k/h or 21mph.
Answer: The products are set and limited at max 19MPH. And we don't recommend to increase speed beyond 19MPH.

Question: What is the weight capacity for riders?
Answer: It is max. 260 lbs, however the travel range will be decreased with 220+ lbs weight.
