Hiboy VE1 Pro Electric Scooter
3 months now, I have 200 miles on it so far. I'm a 70 yr old, 205 lb lifetime bike rider. Very stable, the 16" bike size wheels are the super thing about this scooter. I am handy mechanically. The install of the front wheel should be easy but it wasn't. I spent 2 hrs adjusting the front brake bracket to get the brake to not drag. I didn't give up and finally got it. Now it's perfect for an old guy not wanting high performance. It works great and parts are available if you need them.
Hands down toy of the year! We also have a Hiboy electric bike, but prefer to ride our VE1 scooters! They are so fun to ride, easy on the joints (we’re getting a little older 🤣) and an all around good time for all ages! Def recommend getting two. My and hubby and I include scootering in our date night excursions 😁
Crazy power. Did not expect this much oompff. Still getting aclimated to the use of the throttle, it feels awkward.
This is a great scooter. The huge wheels make it ride over anything with zero drama - broken sidewalks, pinecones, grass and stones paths, etc. It's very fast and stable - hits 30+ mph on downhills and runs 20+ on flat terrain even with my 210 pounds on-board. Battery life seems great and the dual disc brakes are strong. Very happy with it for my purposes.
It is pretty heavy if carrying, doesn't get as compact as others, and struggles to get me up steep inclines from a standstill without momentum coming in, but those are the only negatives so far.
My HiBoy VE1 Pro Electric Scooter is fun. This Scooter is awesome! I am an advanced rider on both my HiBoy Electric Bikes and Scooter. I get the same sensation and motion of Snow Skiing when I ride the Scooter on both the pavement and the sand. The Platform is wide enough for me to stand with my feet side to side. I do circles in the Sand at the Beach. I jump Sand Dunes. I listen to music while I ride, and I shred and carve. The crowd at the Beach and my neighbors where I live go absolutely wild watching me ride. Even the Local Police and Lifeguards like watching me have fun. I am safe and courteous to everyone on the crowded beach, and when I have an open area, I rip it up. They all wave at me and cheer as I ride by, I have referred several people to HiBoy. Senior Citizens, kids and adults of all ages love my HiBoy Electric Bikes and my HiBoy Scooter. They take photos and video tape me riding, and people ask me questions every day.
