I received my S2 MAX about a week after ordering it. The packaging was pretty good, and the required assembly involved putting on 6 screws. It is pretty straightforward.The ride of the scooter was more comfortable than I thought a non-suspension scooter would be. I guess the air filled tires are better than I thought in damping out all the cracks and potholes.
Ive had this scooter for almost a year now. I haven’t had an electric scooter before so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I love this thing. I have a lot of gravel trails near my house and can go down them the max speed without even being close to falling. I’ve even taken it through grass before. It’s nice and quiet, and very sturdy. The only downside I have is about 2 weeks before my 1 year warranty was up my battery went. It wouldn’t turn on or charge. I contacted hiboy to see if i’m able to use the warranty. They didn’t ask any questions and just sent me a new battery with instructions on how to install. The battery came within a few days and took maybe 1 hour to install. I can confirm it’s fixed now. Went on a 6 hour ride last night and still had a 52% charge left. Would definitely buy again.
I’ve been using the Hiboy S2 MAX for a few weeks now. The overall ride feels stable and secure, even at higher speeds. Folding it up is super convenient, especially when I need to carry it into my office or store it at home. The scooter build quality looks good, and the app integration is a nice touch—it’s easy to customize settings and even use cruise control for longer rides.

It has almost been a year since I have been with Hiboy and I have got to say that the scooter has definitely served as a staple within my life. I don’t have a car so this is my main means of transportation. I want to mention that despite pieces becoming damaged or questionable faulty issues within a particular piece, Hiboy has not let me down as far as replacements. Of course, with video/photo evidence, they want to see what the issue is. Upon understanding of issue, they have sent me any and all pieces needed to remedy the situation.
The scooter is amazing, it’s fast and reliable with an amazing range. I found it refreshing to just pop it out of the box assemble a couple of bolts and “vamonos”. About two weeks after light use the scooter got a flat on the front end I tried searching for videos on how to take it off online but there was none and the manual only explains the back tire instructions. Additionally the Allen bolt was screwed on extremely tight, I was able to take the first bolt out relatively easy but the second one completely stripped on me. No matter what I did that bolt just does not budge, beware of this if you plan to fix it yourself!
