Mine came with a battery that seemed defective as it was running out of juice at 10 miles range cruising at 12mph on a flat straight route. I contacted their customer service and after sharing the details of my experience they promptly shipped a new battery. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
I have now owned this scooter for 18 months, use it for about ten minutes a day/six days a week, and it's still going strong with ZERO issues. The people who complain about the battery life are very likely keeping this on a charger at all times, which, of course, is absolutely the worst thing you can do for a rechargeable battery. Charge the scooter, run it down to when it needs another charge, charge it until the green light is lit, and then immediately take it off the charger. A year and a half later, it still goes 19mph, and I charge the scooter every 1-2 weeks whenever the battery indicator turns red.
