I enjoy rideing this scooter. It is easy to use. I've had it for a year now and still use it. It seems to be slower now than when I first got it.
This scooter is amazing, I first tried the s2 scooter and got addicted. My wife uses it to go to work. It works great for her. For me it goes slow up the hills On flat land this thing is amazing. If you know a good hiking slew or trail you could just cruse forever. It makes beer runs fun, if you have friends over just tell them to go grab beer on the scooter. Free beer for scooter rides!
I am really satisfied with the scooter. I been using it for commuting back and forth down-town, around coffee shops, and other town events like farmers market. I get so many people slowing down while driving, waves, and smiles at me just to check the scooter out. People flagged me down just to get info about the scooter; I can not believe the amount of attention I get on this toy. This is my first electric scooter so I am not sure if the intention on this scooter is fun at a safest possible way . Reason I am saying this is that the more you ride it, the more you wish that the scooter had a little bit of power at take off instead of speed/momentum build-up while in motion. It is easy to ride, safe, easy to maneuver around crowded sidewalks. I am already looking for my second scooter, and hope that Hiboy can improve the scooter motor for a bit of little more torque; as I am really happy with the scooter.
"Overall this thing is great! It has made my (2.5 mile) commute fun and something I look forward to compared to the cramped bus ride I used to have. My savings on a bus pass have paid back the purchase price. The electronics and battery on the scooter are still in good shape after this much use, and the range is close to what it was when the scooter was new. I just replaced the tires for the first time .
"A lot of people tend to wonder the weight limit. This scooter claims 200lbs but I’m 6 foot 265lbs and it rides great. It’s also VERY nice to see they included 2 new tires WITH inner tubes already installed. I’ll update in a few weeks.
UPDATE!!!! I was able to go 12.8 miles from 83% battery to 17%. I can easily get the 18.6 mile range they claim if not more. I only noticed acceleration loss at about 25% and about a 2mph top speed loss under 20%. This scooter is by far the best performer and has proved all of its claims true. At 265lbs being about to go OVER the top speed, well, it just shows it backs up what it claims and then some."
