Badass scooter love it be careful it's fast

Overall this thing is like other customers said, a beast. It goes quite fast and is just way too much fun to use. I started with the S2 /solid tires so tires with air in them are awesome. There are some design flaws:

When you place the handle bar on the post its two soft metals touching each other and no matter how hard you crank down there is absolutely a possibility that you can just pull it right off. I did this right out of my driveway. To fix it I got a metal drill bit and put a "safety" bolt through the post so it will never ever come off. I adjust this when needed

2nd. : My rear tire has already become flat, dirty , debris in road I guess. That sucked and really deflated my spirit a bit. I tried to fill it with the "green slime" tire puncture repair with results that only lasted a couple of days. In the end I had to get a tube and put it back on with success.

To get this tire off and unbolted etc is a real task. I am an electrician by trade and have no issues with tools but this is a two person job. Getting the tire off not as hard but getting it back on , omg it was work. In addition you cannot disconnect the motor/wheel to work on it. I am sure if I took the entire bottom panel off I could find where it connected and remove it but its a tire repair, and im not doing all that. My solution was to get an angle grinder and cut a small slit in the bar that holds the wheel. They actually wove the power cord to the motor through the metal eyelets. I just have it zip tied now with no issues at all. A major project for sure.

The throttle could use some work as well, it is a bit jumpy and I rarely use speed 1 . Speed 2 seems to be my go to but on 3 its a blast as well. This scooter does not want to go slow it wants to eat road. As other reviewers suggested ride this like a surfboard/skateboard and you will have a better control while riding. It took me about a day and now I have zero control issues. I let the deck become my lifeline and it has not let me down. It is powerful though and I cannot say I haven't thrown myself off a few time. haha i know!

Other than the above this scooter is just way to much fun. It goes quite fast, has a nice long battery life and handles pretty much whatever I throw at it. The price range is really good for its features and I really did not want to spend upwards of $1500 for a high quality one, which there are many and they do have better designs. The display is super bright and clear, the operation is straight forward . Its got some weight to it so I don't bring it in stores like my S2, mainly just ride it on the street and in my local Pennypack Park in Philadelphia .

These scooters are just too much fun so its hard even with the challenges I was faced with to give it a negative review. In addition my buddies have really really enjoyed using mine and have since purchased their own scooters. We go for night time rides , day rides etc. I suggest bringing an air pump and a small tool collection for occasional bolt tightening etc. And while your at it bring some beers too, you earned it . :)

Hiboy TITAN Electric Scooter

This is one beast of a scooter. Very quick at start and hits 26 mph in about 4-5 seconds in turbo mode. This scooter takes some getting used to. I had the Hiboy MAX3 for 6 weeks before buying this scooter. The MAX3 throttles up smooth and is relatively fast at 19 mph max-easy and comfortable to ride. The titan is like driving a sports car. You have to get used to the power/acceleration-definitely has a more rough and tumble feel to it. The one bad review of this scooter stated that it is nearly impossible to control throttle at low speeds. This is not true. It just takes getting used to. At low speeds I've learned to be gentle/subtle with acceleration. Now, no problem controlling at lower speeds. Do not ride this scooter with feet side by side. You should ride this scooter like you would a surf/skateboard-with dominant foot against brace plate, other foot forward. The Titan eats up inclines as if they were nothing. Where my MAX3 would slow almost to a stop on certain hills, The Titan hardly misses a beat. The Titan looks amazing, as if it were forged in the fiery depths of Hades. Now for the one negative thing about this scooter. When I unboxed/assembled the scooter, it came with two screws to attach the handlebars to frame. One screw goes on each side of a clamping mechanism which tightens handlebars to frame. Well, when I tightened the screws, the clamp was not gripping frame and the handlebars were just lifting off frame even with screws fully tightened-this also meant no steering or control of front wheel. After brainstorming with friends, I figured out a safe mod. I STRONGLEY RECOMMEND you do the following: Go to Ace Hardware, bring one of screws that came with scooter and ask for the same screw but two sizes up in length (Buy 2 of them). Then ask for two locknuts with washers built-in that fit these screws. Also buy a tube of screw glue. This all will cost about $10. Now screw in your new screws into the clamp mechanism (put screw glue on the screws first), tighten, these new screws will stick out about a half an inch from clamp. Check to make sure handlebar is secure to frame and you have control of turning front wheel. Final step-attach the lock nuts to the end of each screw and tighten everything down. Short of welding handlebar to frame, this is the safest and cheapest alternative Now I have piece of mind that the two screws will not loosen and compromise clamping mechanism. Aside from this issue, this scooter is an absolute blast to ride, sporty and handles light off-road, desert paths well, zooms down smooth bike paths, and is definitely a head turner. This is the perfect scooter for me, max speed of 26 mph in turbo mode is as fast as I would ever want to go on one of these. I named it KRONOS, king of the titans. Awesome scooter.
